Select2 Field Extension
Enable Select2
Transform your Select or Query form field type input to a more useful Select2.
You can enable this option from Form > Content > Form Fields > Select Field > e-addons Tab.
Placeholder
On standard Select input it’s not possible to add a Placeholder, now you can!
You don’t have to create an extra empty Option to simulate it.
Maximum selection length
When your field Accept Multiple values, then you can define a maximum number of options user can choose, minimum 2.
Add new Options
Let user add new Options not initially provided by the select.

Select2 is indispensable when you have a large range of options in your Select field.
Perhaps you could also add a Placeholder visible when User has not select an option, so the first empty option is selected.
